This site has changed its name and URL to About.com. However, the old "miningco.com" domain name still works, both on the main page and for other miningco.com sites throughout this book.

(Note: About.com eliminated many of its travel sites in 2001, and a number of the sites that remain were unmaintained the last time I checked. Also, I recommend installing a pop-up filter before visiting the site, because pop-up and pop-under ads sometimes occur at the rate of two to three per page.
